If you had a million dollars tomorrow, what would you do with it?
I know what you’re thinking… Joe, why is this relevant, what does it have to do with property?
I think it’s a fun way to show how different people value different things. I expect that we will get some wildly different answers! You know those exercises in school where they say “There’s no wrong answers” (When really there are!). Well this is the legitimate exception.
You don’t have to say that you would invest (it all) in property. You don’t have to say that you’d invest it in anything financial. Maybe you’d buy the car of your dreams, take a lucrative gap year, quit your job, eat like royalty or put it all on red…
Not being ashamed about what you value and what you spend your money on is something we need to get better at as a community.
So how would you spend it!?
